The Team

Operators who build —
not advisors who recommend.

Ashish and Rakesh have been friends since engineering at IIT Kharagpur (different departments, same batch), and long before the careers that took them in opposite directions.

Ashish went deep into capital and strategy — McKinsey, then Carlyle Group, spending fifteen years understanding how wealth is created at the institutional level: where value is built, how it compounds, and how it gets unlocked.

Rakesh went deep into enterprise tech and AI — spending twenty years of experience building systems where technology becomes a driver of growth. He founded one of India's early B2B auction SaaS platforms with a successful exit. His current focus spans context graphs, knowledge driven systems, and applied AI architectures that unlock value at the intersection of business and technology.

For twenty years, they watched the same problem from different vantage points: great businesses that couldn't grow faster because their operations couldn't keep up. Exagon is what happens when both sides of that problem are in the same room.

"The real AI opportunity is not at the desktop.
It is inside the workflow."

Most businesses are using AI as a better search engine. The ones that will win are embedding it into the operating system of the company itself — where every repetitive decision, every manual handoff, every knowledge gap becomes a point of leverage.
